We’ve just completed the recovery of 628 Zenon (ZNN) cryptocurrency tokens that were held in a legacy wallet with a forgotten password. There was no recorded seed phrase either.
To complicate matters it was an old style Zenon wallet, based on Bitcoin Core and forked from Pivx. The new Zenon wallet is known as Syrius and is very different and incompatible with the old wallet.
The job was completed over a period of 4 weeks using and included several proof of concept techniques. The password was 14 characters long.
